How the job goes

Preparation
The subfloor is checked and levelled, because a floor is only as flat as what's under it.

Laying
Tiles, herringbone, wood or laminate go down, with the pattern set out from the middle of the room.

Finishing
Grouting, sealing, thresholds and skirting, so the floor meets the walls and the next room cleanly.

What we take on
Electrics and plumbing are done by qualified trades we work with, and you get the certificates at the end. We're insured with Zurich. Often this goes together with bathrooms, kitchens and full refurbishments.

Can you restore our original floorboards?
Often, yes. Damaged boards are replaced or repaired and the floor is sanded and finished. We've restored pine floors in period houses.
Do you lay herringbone floors?
Yes. Herringbone runs through several of our finished rooms, including through-lounges and extensions.
