New driveways and paths at the front of the house, laid on a properly prepared base so they stay level.

How the job goes

Every job starts with a free site visit and an itemised written quote. You can see finished jobs on our work, read who we are, and see what clients wrote on Rated People.

  1. 1

    Digging out

The old surface comes up and the ground is dug out to the depth the base needs.

  2. 2

    The base

A compacted sub-base goes down, with edging to hold it, because the base is what stops a drive sinking.

  3. 3

    The surface

The finished surface is laid and the levels are set so water runs away from the house.

What we take on

Electrics and plumbing are done by qualified trades we work with, and you get the certificates at the end. We're insured with Zurich. Often this goes together with house maintenance, house extensions and new build homes.

Driveways: questions

Anything else, ask us on WhatsApp.

Do I need planning permission for a new driveway?

In England, a new or replaced front driveway over 5 square metres needs planning permission unless it's permeable or the water drains to a lawn or border within your property. A dropped kerb onto the road is a separate application to the council.

Where we do driveways

We're based in Bromley and work across south-east London and the edge of Surrey and Kent. All areas we cover.
